4. Easy to connect and use
1. Preparation
1.1 Turn the vehicle ignition on.
1.2 Vehicle battery voltage range should be 5-30Volts.
1.3 Throttle should be in a closed position.
2. Vehicle Connection
2.1 Locate vehicle’s DLC socket: The DLC (Diagnostic Link Connector) is usually located 12 inches from the center of the steering wheel, under or around the driver’s side for most vehicles. If the DLC cannot be found, refer to the vehicle’s service manual for the location.
2.2 Connect the diagnostic cable to the vehicle’s DLC, the tool will be automatically powered up.
2.3 The tool is now ready to work.
5. Battery Performance Test
Ⅰ. Pre-Test Preparation:
Vehicle Status Confirmation:
Ensure the vehicle is turned off, with the ignition switch in the “OFF” position.
Equipment Check:
Connect the red battery clamp to the battery positive (+) terminal and the black battery clamp to the battery negative (-) terminal.
Ⅱ. Test Procedure
From the main menu, select the “Battery Performance Test” function. Follow the on-screen prompts to select the corresponding battery type (e.g., Standard Lead-Acid/AGM/Gel) and its rated CCA (Cold Cranking Amps) value.
Keep the vehicle stationary and initiate the test. The device will automatically measure parameters such as voltage, internal resistance, and CCA, generating a diagnostic report that includes the State of Health (SOH)and State of Charge (SOC).
