The GM MDI 2 is the Global Diagnostic Interface tool for both current and future GM vehicles. Itreplaces the MDI introduced in 2007 and offers a compact communication module with increasedprocessing power and security to offer faster transfer of data between a vehicle’s onboard ECUnetwork with an auxiliary CAN bus.

Station Connection Mode(WLAN Connection): Connect the MDI2 device and the computer to the same local area network.
AP connection mode and station connection mode can be switched through the device button.
